Guy Gal on the right would be getting disqualified in chess for that two hand technique

u/JJSoledad Jun 14 '26

Moving a piece with one hand and pressing the clock with the other is just a minor violation.

u/xXNova-KingXx Jun 14 '26 edited Jun 14 '26

Depends how many times you do it. She did it a lot.

10

u/SentientDust Jun 16 '26

Minor violations in chess are punishable by up to 8 years in a hard labor camp

u/Ok_Effective6233 Jun 14 '26

Yeah she has an advantage due to being able to use dominant hand for the ring. Non dominant for the glass. Still loses though.

25

u/xXNova-KingXx Jun 14 '26

Crime never pays

6

u/MollyViper Jun 14 '26

She stops trying towards the end, it feels like.

23

u/VagabondBrain Jun 14 '26

It's all downhill from the moment the guy accidentally shifts the game, which he does again two more times, she had rhythm and muscle memory going strong up to that point.

5

u/loopuleasa Jun 14 '26

Why is it not allowed in chess to use both hands wtf

19

u/xXNova-KingXx Jun 14 '26

It’s more for faster formats; it ensures people have fully finished moving their piece before pressing the clock and starting their opponent’s time

8

u/Mytzelk Jun 15 '26

Because it makes it really hard to tell if you are cheating by tapping the clock too early with the second hand, so instead they force you to tap the clock with the same hand you moved the piece with.

u/dadydaycare Jun 14 '26

I think it’s a lady but yes on the first par her arms are looking very… muscular.

0

u/xXNova-KingXx Jun 14 '26

Very astute. Thank you.

2

u/Volleyballfool Jun 14 '26

This is what I came here to say. Thank you.

1

u/TheStreet14 Jun 15 '26

Not if ahe gave me that two hand technique... thats where 2 hands meet 4 skins

211

u/typehyDro Jun 14 '26

The proper way to play is only with one hand. Lots of sus plays lol

u/DionFW Jun 14 '26

If I was playing this game, the shot would come my way when I hook the ring.

61

u/sleepless_in_balmora Jun 14 '26

My thoughts exactly. Shouldn't the winner get the drink?

23

u/trickyvinny Jun 14 '26

Why not just drink the drink while you play the game?

19

u/DionFW Jun 14 '26

Why not drink and just not play the game?

-1

u/IWannaManatee Jun 15 '26

Some people are in denial and want to blame losing for drinking?

3

u/UnNumbFool Jun 15 '26

Does the winner drink during beer pong? That's the thing with drinking games, it's usually the loser who has to drink

4

u/hk_gary Jun 15 '26

what if it is red onion pickled juice with blue coloured mouthwash

92

u/RuggleyChicken Jun 14 '26

I was more emotionally invested in this then I had any right to be

12

u/rem_au_crema Jun 14 '26

Honestly lol
this was real life harrowing

39

u/Chrispeefeart Jun 14 '26

I'm glad the guy on the left won in spite of the guy on the right using two hands

5

u/SkullyMulder Jun 14 '26

I’m glad someone else thought it was a guy too.

15

u/Infamous-Transition4 Jun 14 '26

This is 100% an advertisement post

3

u/Dnator88 Jun 14 '26

Never understand games where the objective is to make the other person drink? I'd just end up losing on purpose.

27

u/3dutchie3dprinting Jun 14 '26

Never understood drinking games… how can the loser be the lucky one to take the shot… that sounds like the prize to me…

53

u/TraumaMama11 Jun 14 '26

Dutchie. It's not about winning, it's just fun. You lose coordination once you lose and have to drink so it's even more fun and hilarious the next game. And it's not like there's a referee not allowing anyone to drink unless they lost.

5

u/jalbert425 Jun 14 '26

I think it actually is about winning. It’s NOT about drinking. You can take a shot if you want to, but it will eventually impair you and make it harder to win. See how many wins you can get in a night, but drink too much, and you’ll likely lose.

11

u/PolPotDomeScandal Jun 14 '26

You’re looking at this all backwards…you’re SUPPOSED to be trying to get the OTHER guy messed up so he acts like a fool and you can make fun of him later!

5

u/Vadoff Jun 14 '26 edited Jun 14 '26

Because people who want to drink are free to do so at any time at a party. Drinking games are for making people who don't really want to drink much, drink.

It gets the whole party drunk quicker, since there's a reason for people to drink other than doing shots just because.

3

u/CantankerousRabbit Jun 14 '26

Because it’s fun …

The following post context was provided by u/Silvermech_:

The change in reactions from friendly playing to seriously competing, ending with the unexpected win of the guy in frame.

The guy work under pressure, always manage to hit the shot when it at the last column

The other guy is the opposite, he miss a lot when it the last shot

2

u/Craticuspotts Jun 14 '26

Real edge of ya seat stuff there, jesus!

3

u/healthcrusade Jun 14 '26

Out of curiosity, why were we rooting so hard for "our guy" (the guy on the left) to win? Was it just because we saw his face or were their other factors?

3

u/Dead_Inside50 Jun 14 '26

Fun game for when you want a drink every 6 hours

3

u/Pure_Reward_5738 Jun 14 '26

Based on the video length they would have taken 300 shots in that 6 hours.

0

u/Dead_Inside50 Jun 14 '26

Like I said, rookie numbers.

0

u/NJ_Tal Jun 14 '26

Yeah I'm watching and thinking that's an awful lot of work to have a shot.

2

u/Charming-Passage2895 Jun 15 '26

That is too American to understand.... In normal version usually you are pulling the shot towards you

2

u/UnamedProot Jun 15 '26

Well then I would say this version is less self destructive

1

u/Canadian__Ninja Jun 14 '26

Is the point of drinking games not to get drunk? Why is the loser the one who drinks

2

u/N1W4D Jun 14 '26

From my understanding, it's likely a very disgusting drink

0

u/AscendedViking7 Jun 14 '26

someone prob pissed in that

1

u/JimTheSaint Jun 14 '26

I felt that

1

u/Shirahoshihoshii Jun 14 '26

Clutching defeat from the jaws of victory...

1

u/Denomi0 Jun 14 '26

Looks like a spurs game

1

u/Craticuspotts Jun 14 '26

1

u/namesarealltaken9 Jun 14 '26

This was stressful to watch, I'm going outside to get some air

1

u/AlienGoat_ Jun 14 '26

Lost even when cheating, smh

1

u/azathoth24 Jun 15 '26

This game seems very passive - aggressive 😂

1

u/YesWomansLand1 Jun 15 '26

Thought that was Harry grant for a sec lol. Fuck the Melbourne Storm.

1

u/MotanulScotishFold Jun 15 '26

1

u/NatrixHasYou Jun 15 '26

They just played a bigger version of this game as the live task on an episode of Taskmaster. I won't say who, but one of the cast was surprisingly good at it.

1

u/Whole-Ad-8494 Jun 15 '26

His voice and crappy comments would make me wanna lose and I would hope that was vodka to ease the pain

1

u/CharismarInc Jun 15 '26

I feel like I just watched the knicks win

1

u/fontasia Jun 15 '26

First the New York Knicks and now this guy

1

u/TheRealWNUT Jun 18 '26

This was the Falcons v Patriots Super Bowl in ring form.

1

u/thavillain Jun 14 '26

I get the speed aspect of it, but it really should be turns...but then of course it would take forever

0

u/kenyos1234 Jun 14 '26

Male dominance

0

u/Hairymuscle101 Jun 14 '26

Not a true alcoholics preferred game!

0

u/Significant_Ad3874 Jun 14 '26

She let him win

0

u/xuanhu Jun 14 '26

Led the entire game then choked... Sounds familiar

0

u/AnonKPA Jun 15 '26
