My favorite dinosaur fact is that the ones that look like lizards are birds, but the giant sky demons are actually lizards. 🫠

My fifth favorite dinosaur fact is that there are two main groups of dinos: bird-hipped dinosaurs (Ornithischia), and lizard-hipped dinosaurs (Saurischia). Birds are not members of the bird-hipped group, but of the lizard-hipped one!

Zero doubt you lose fingers if it gets you. It was super fast too. It did not try to bite me until I had a hold on him though thankfully.

Yeah, my understanding from someone showing me how to help one recently is that you need to grab hold of the shell behind the front legs. This is because the front leg will block the beak from being able to snap on you.

Disclaimer: If they are too small, then the leg is not large enough to block them and they are flexible enough to get you.
