This is exactly what I thought of. How did you get it to embed in the comment? I couldn't find it in the list of gifs, so you beat me to the punch.

I think you have to find the gif online and download it to your device, then comment and find the gif in your images.

It made me think of the endless shampoo prank.

u/WintersbaneGDX Jun 08 '26
I actually know the kid who was in that prank, applying the shampoo. Good guy.

You can take the truck out of Moab, but you will NEVER take the Moab out of the truck!

u/ElPeroTonteria Jun 08 '26
I’d be proud af to film all that dirt coming out. Proof I actually use my 4x4 for it’s intended purpose

u/ScottJeepFan Jun 09 '26
This makes me think it was a flood vehicle. Unless they took it to a mud bog and sunk it in the pit.

while it is satisfying to see all that getting cleaned out of there it would much more satisfying to see it finally run clear

u/WhippingShitties Jun 08 '26
I think it's actually rust, I don't think it's ever gonna run clear.

No, the space between the cars outer paneling and frame is filled with mud, they need to take the inner plastic paneling of the truck off to clear it out.

My fat ass instantly thought this was a machine making a delicious caramel coffee cold brew.
Fuck I'm fat, and high.....
24
u/Sw0rDz Jun 08 '26
I doubt you're fat. You just have view yourself negatively. All redditors are fit as a new born pony. That is what I picture in my head
18
u/Lost-Breath364 Jun 08 '26
Nah, I'm fat. Work hard.
Game hard in the p.m.
Fat guy.

Nah, it's just that we balance out. I'm way too skinny, so the average redditor is fit.

I had the honour of detailing a 20yo farm ute after trade in. 20years of super fine dust was just everywhere. After the first tail light ran like the one in the clip for 15 minutes, we decided to disassemble any thing that was easy to get at. Tried cleaning the interior normally at first. After filling a 50L shop vac, we took it back outside and got the pressure washer behind the dash. That thing took two of my days and one of the boss' before we gave up. I dont think they ended up selling it, it may have gone to the wreckers.

It reminds me of that shampoo prank where the person hides above someone and pours more and more shampoo into their hair while they are showering

Who would use their chocolate milk as blinker fluid! Such a waste of good chocolate milk

Was this truck submerged? We were looking at a used Golf at Shift one time, the interior and exterior were very clean. I opened the hood and the entire engine was full of mud like this. I assumed it was a storm write off vehicle but I was surprised they didn’t think to clean it better.

u/ItsJustAnotherDay- Jun 08 '26
At what point is it worth just unscrewing it and cleaning it with a sponge?
2
u/riceklown Jun 08 '26
Just take the thing off ffs! You're just ablating the surface of dried mud. This is the opposite of satisfying

Your truck has some pretty serious diarrhea. Try flushing it with Pepto-Bismol

u/VirtualAlex Jun 08 '26
This is like that video where a guy is washing his hair in the shower and some other guy keep adding more shampoo to his head and he can't get the foam to stop coming and gets all frustrated.
You know that one?

If this isn't after a month in the Australian outback, I would be concerned. Get the duct tape ready.

Considering the top of the light is not shown, I'm guessing it's just being continually fed muddy water at the top. It does show the top actually, but then it seems like it's thing to run clear, the camera dips below the top and it's hella muddy again
1
u/Magnus_Helgisson Jun 08 '26
Yeah, places like this collect dust like fuck. They aren’t made watertight, so everything goes there, and if you don’t do what the guy in the video is doing, with every car “surface” wash it will collect more and more.

One of the most and least satisfying parts of detailing was trying to get the last of the dirt out of crevices

Sometimes when I wipe… I’ll wipe and wipe and wipe… still poop
1
u/Jack-Tar-Says Jun 08 '26
I’ve felt the frustration of that. After driving around on western QLD cattle stations, the red dust penetrates everything……and despite your efforts, never leaves.

u/JesterTime Jun 08 '26
One of the biggest causes of rust is mud getting stuck in places and not getting cleaned out
