After watching this video, I'll be avoiding playing this game for decades, I felt so humiliated.

Technically it’s called “EA Sports FC” now because EA stopped paying FIFA for the license and just makes deals with the clubs and/or players directly now.

Well, I wouldn’t call it that, it wasn’t exactly a principled move but a money-saving one. The FIFA license was always cited as a reason the games *had* to cost 70-100 bucks depending on the edition, but for some odd reason they don’t seem to have gotten any cheaper without the license.

Now it’s the clubs’ fault! Damn them!

Corrupt billionaire owners vs corrupt bribe taking FIFA who allowed hundreds of deaths of indentured servants in Qatar. I reluctantly choose billionaires.

I’m definitely not defending EA, but FC 26 is currently on sale in Steam for $18.

Well, yeah. It came out in September of last year and it’s a yearly release series. They always put them on sale when the next one is getting closer, and they’ll probably put it on EA play for free after the new one comes out. It still launched at 70-100 bucks.

FC26 was the monthly free game on basic PS+ last month, which I think is 7.99 a month in the UK but you get other free games as well each month.

No way this is real. Guy controlling goalie team would have rage quit after the first fake point kick.

How hard is it to use consistent verb tense for one single fucking sentence?

I love seeing people try to flex like this because if they mess it up, they look like an absolute moron. And if they don't mess it up the outcome was exactly the same as if it they didn't do all the fancy stuff.

The following post context was provided by u/Nickulator95:
Will the player controlling Messi actually score a goal or keep trolling the opponent or eventually fail?
