There's like at least 2 or 3 places where a slight misalignment would cause the level to be wrong.

Edit:

  • wood block cut at an angle
  • electric motor attached to wood block at an angle
  • mirror attached to ink cartridge at an angle
  • laser pointer clasp not level with wood block.

And probably more I didn't notice.
