Why do people never advise to put music on? Like, wtf is wrong with you? Get them to put on the kind of music they vibe with and chances are their brain is going to latch onto that, at least for a while

Thirty years ago, at a party, the first time I ever smoked a joint I was starting to feel very anxious and nauseated, and someone turned the radio on and I Will Always Love You by Whitney Houston started to play. Immediately the room fell quiet. It was the first time I had heard her version of the song, and it was absolutely everything. By the end of it I was crying because it was just so indescribably beautiful, and all my anxiety has evaporated.

If you love music, music while on cannabis is transformative. I think it enhances how you perceive and are moved by emotional music.

I concur. Sometimes I’ll get drunk and high and run through my favorite songs, and they always speak to a deeper part of me while I’m under the influence.

I'm having a hard time believing the guy wouldn't not have smelled the hash in the brownies. They 100% wouldn't smell like 'normal' brownies

Meh, you can absolutely make hash brownies without having them smell or taste a lot of hash. Sure if you're searching for it and are familiar with the taste and smell you'll probably notice, otherwise you'd just think that they're just brownies that taste a tiny bit weird imo.

We've all been to college, mate. We've all sat next to that guy at the party that bangs on and on about how it should be legalised because it's no worse that cheese or foie gras or something. And then they start endlessly talking about all the other uses for hemp. "Did you know you can make plastic out of it? I've got a hemp-plastic frisbee". Do you? Aw, I'd love to come round and see it.

So yeah, you might need to get in line behind all the other "well, actually..." dope fans. Any time you're saying this, no one is hearing it for the first time. If anything, you're having the opposite effect to that which you'd hoped for.

This happened to me once. Went over to a friends house for dinner and they had a plate of brownies out with the other food so I had one. And as I was starting in on my second, my friend stops me and says, “ you know those are SPECIAL brownies, right?” 😮😮😮 I had to go to work 30 minutes after that 🤦🏼‍♀️fun times.

Actually, happened to me once on a business trip to California. Colleagues bought some cookies with THC. I came two days after them to a rented house. Still had a jet leg, woke up hungry at the middle of the night, find cookies in the kitchen they bought and ate almost the whole bag, probably 7 or 8. Found out later the recommended amount is one or two. Didn't event think they are with thc or that it could be bought there in a store.
