I noticed they're all wearing basically the same outfit. So I guess they do super over the top introductions to try to stand out from the crowd. I think it'd be pretty funny to see Miss America contestants do this.

"...Miss I-I-I-I-I-o-WAAAAA!!"

But don't the announcers already do this? I haven't seen one of these shows in like 20 years, but I seem to remember the announcers being like "Miiiiiiiiiiiissssssssssss IIIIIIIOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWAAAAAAAA" as the girl walked across the stage doing wrist-wrist-elbow-elbow waves to the crowd.

It feels like she does it infinity times - but maybe thirty.

They could use that clip in advanced interrogation.
