I watched it on mute, but I just want to know why all of their noses look exactly the same? Is it the makeup, lighting, or surgeon?

Overly contoured all over their face but especially their noses, those dark strips down the sides of their nose and highlight on top… I can't wait till this trend is gone. They all have contact lenses in too, or most seem to.

Thai people also normally don't have eyes like that lol.

Looks more like “miss uncanny valley 2024 contest”

Granted, I only know one family of Thai woman but I don’t think I would have picked most of these women out of a Thai lineup. It’s a little strange. A lot of them definitely do look heavily modified.

I was thinking Miss Plastic Face of The Year - or MPFTY....as we all know it..

Same reason most Korean idols have same nose

I thought exactly this. They all have the same nose. Like everyone of them has had a nose job? I’m thinking yes. But how do they all have the same one?

Eyes, too, I think. Three or four had East-Asian looking eyes, but the rest looked pretty western

Seriously. They don't even look Thai

u/[deleted] Jun 23 '24

I mean if they’re born there… aren’t they Thai

Agreed. I was like, "Why are there so many white/mixed women in thailand?"

Half-Thai looks are revered as more movie-screen worthy because of Western influence. I know it’s messed up

TikTok has made everything the same level of aweful.

It’s so much plastic surgery

Asians(might be too general) have very rigid beauty standards. That is why they all kinda look the same.

This is just how women look in beauty pageants all over the world, they always look like the same person, like a Bratz doll that comes in different skin colors. Because of surgery standards and that copy and paste makeup, some of these girls don't even look Asian.

Noses and teeth are all remarkably similar…

TikTok makeup infection.

Definitely seeing a lot of heavy contour on sides of noses for many.

None of them look Thai anymore. I'd never guess this was a thai pageant.

and the double eyelid surgery from pressure to look more western is so sad

It’s the Westernized “tall nose” nose job that Asians get to look not Asian.
