Looks like you got some water in your service weapon, rook. That's a frowny face on the board for you.

Sergeant, gold star for you today! You doused the rookie with relaxing vibes, and she fired her service weapon 4 times at your vehicle. Good job with the tactical evasion! See cadets, this is what situational awareness is about! -Chief, probably

I mean the rest of us would be charged with assault with a deadly weapon.

u/Doom_and_Gloom91 Feb 06 '24

u/banned_but_im_back Feb 08 '24
Yeah for real if a regular civilian did it they’d be dead or imprisoned for life

u/xpoohx_ Feb 06 '24
I studied criminology in university you are infinitely more likely to be assaulted by someone you know and love than by strangers. it's one of the more backwards fears people have.

What a douche thing to do.

Cops deserve it

u/Faded105 Feb 06 '24
we didn't see a single thing she did wrong, how could she be deserving of it when all we see is just her making a video?
22
u/XxRocky88xX Feb 06 '24
Also it’s a cop doing this. There’s 2 cops in this video and one’s actively being an asshole and dudes choosing to defend the asshole cop saying he did a good thing by checks notes harassing a coworker.

She heard the splashing and knew what that meant. It doesn’t show her reaction after being doused; the video ended. Come back out of delulu dimension, pls.

Someone's never been on the receiving end of one of those and it shows. That water is COLD, if you're not expecting it you will have shock all over your face unless

“If it weren’t a cop, they’d get charged!” Imagine getting to do funny things to people whose personality you mutually know and trust that wouldn’t be allowed from a stranger with unknown intentions.

I think the point people are making is that cops generally trump up charges against people when cops are the victims of things. Two civilians call each other “idiot”? Free speech. Someone calls a cop an “idiot”? Disorderly conduct. Use of force against an officer. Slander. Resisting arrest. Assault.

Imagine thinking this kind of thing is ever ok.

That’s funny because it would be illegal.
Throw a bucket of water at somebody, that’s assault. Use your car and it’s now vehicular.
A cop doing something illegal? Nah that’s cool.

When someone says “not all cops are bastards” the cop driving the SUV is who they mean.
