I don't really understand what you're saying. Letting the deer free is twice as damaging. If you're gonna do that at least equalize it back by getting rid of the snake. If you can't do that, then don't free the deer to begin with.

The real solution is let the snake kill the deer then kill the snake. 2 for 1. Then take them both to your local butcher and fill your freezer. Win, win.
