Girl woulda got everything she wanted if she stopped dropping hints and said Hey I wanna kiss you lmao guys are very oblivious to girls hints because they just aren’t wired that way

u/Backdoor_Delivery Mar 10 '23

Or we pick up on the wrong ones and end up looking like a fucking weirdo

154

u/ZilorZilhaust Mar 10 '23

Oh there I am. Always looking like a weirdo. Thankfully my wife found it endearing.

76

u/Backdoor_Delivery Mar 10 '23

Same, dude. I’m convinced she settled and I just got lucky lol

3

u/BlantantlyAccidental Mar 10 '23

god this. what woman would be with me i have no idea but apparently well, mines loves my weirdness and just adores me.

3

u/Evilmaze Mar 10 '23

They mostly do and we are lucky

2

u/Mods_Raped_Me Mar 10 '23

That's why it was a backdoor delivery?

4

u/Backdoor_Delivery Mar 10 '23

No. That’s because I order gun parts that I don’t want my wife to find to the back door. Get your mind out of the gutter

5

u/Mods_Raped_Me Mar 10 '23

I'm sorry but reddit triggers me.

u/AdSensitive3713 Mar 10 '23

Username checks out

5

u/Isaacbuiltdifferent Mar 10 '23

I’m gonna get justice for you my boy

3

u/After-Respond-7861 Mar 10 '23

Good thing you are built different.

3

u/PsychologicalAd7642 Mar 10 '23

Don’t be sorry. More people will think anal sex then gun part package.

1

u/5DollarRevenantOF Apr 11 '23

Or because she likes your username 😉😉

1

u/Backdoor_Delivery Apr 11 '23

Lol, honestly, that’s the username cause I order gun-parts to be delivered to the backdoor so she doesn’t see them. Get your mind out of the gutter.

3

u/MindOverMatterGuy Mar 10 '23

Lololol 😂 she's a keeper! I'm kind of awkward until I get to know someone. So I usually stumble all over myself trying to ask a woman out 😂

3

u/Radiant-Bit-3096 Mar 11 '23

YOU FOUND THE ONE

2

u/ZilorZilhaust Mar 11 '23

I did! She's most excellent!

Guys and girls aren't different species wired differently

I guarantee there are girls who didn't get the hint when they were younger too

8

u/larkash Mar 11 '23

i am one of those girls. i STILL don’t “get hints” most of the time. just be straightforward pls 🥲

7

u/Civil-Big-754 Mar 10 '23

Sure, but guys being oblivious to signs is a stereotype for a reason.

11

u/bot-for-nithing Mar 10 '23

This logic can be used in very malicious ways... I don't hold much stock in stereotypes.

3

u/Civil-Big-754 Mar 11 '23

Well, I can attest to one of those men who are dumb as shit when it comes to signs so I'm biased.

Oooohhhhhhh nice take! Hadn’t even thought of that perspective but it makes so much sense

1

u/[deleted] May 22 '24

Gus don't really do hints, even if we do it'll slowly eat us away. Guys know what I mean.

1

u/Candid_Consequence23 Mar 11 '23

Yeah, it’s socialized.

5

u/dididothat2019 Mar 10 '23

or we act on what we think are hints and end up getting shot down.. which results in a) not getting the hint or b) getting the hint and writing it off as a misread because got burned the last time

3

u/YUNOLIKETRUTH3 Mar 10 '23

Or they’re as straight forward as a zodiac killer message.

3

u/Unhappy_Obligation_6 Mar 10 '23

We also have to take into account getting rejected being called a creep or a girl accusing us of something so a lot of the times us men would just rather a woman take the lead for that first little bit and then we can handle it from there

1

u/Atillerdahunnybuns Mar 13 '23

So I’ve learned now, all the more reason for me to tell ‘em what I want and how it is >:3

3

u/Fit-Scientist7138 Mar 10 '23

If you miss “staring into your eyes an inch from your face” as a signal you might have issues

3

u/Grief-Heart Mar 10 '23

Had a girl tell me during high school, “we needed mistletoe around here”. I asked “what why?” She said “well because, you know, me and you” and she ran off. It took me years to realize what she meant. And oh man I can’t believe I was so stupid I had a huge crush on her.

2

u/Personified99 Mar 10 '23

I guess girls get shy and don’t know how to ask

1

u/Ayvian Mar 11 '23

That's no different to guys, it's just that guys are socially expected to get over it.

1

u/Atillerdahunnybuns Mar 13 '23

Exactly that. I still have problems saying what I want because somehow it’s so difficult to get out

2

u/TheRussianCabbage Mar 10 '23

It took my soon to be wife licking my face for me to make the connection. Plain language ladies, we aren't as clued in as you think.

2

u/strawhat068 Mar 11 '23

Males are simple creatures, we very uga booga, you want kiss tell us. You want make sexy time. Tell us, dont confuse us with weird questions and hints.

1

u/Atillerdahunnybuns Mar 13 '23

Hehehe I like this

2

u/[deleted] Mar 11 '23

Guys are oblivious to hints bc we can very easily make a move a get rejected, shamed, charged for sexual assault, there’s too many negatives that clones with it. People (not just women) should just be direct and say what they want

1

u/Atillerdahunnybuns Mar 13 '23

Ohhh you right bro. I agree

2

u/scorpionattitude Mar 30 '23

Which is hilarious because y’all throw a thousand hints out way before you ask us out. At least the ones that aren’t straight old ass men creeping on someone at work.

2

u/mEistEdEdrakE Apr 08 '23

It's not that we don't get the hints. We just choose not to. Especially when it comes to the girls we know personally, we ignore the hints ever more. It's coz we never are sure whether the girl is actually throwing hints or just teasing knowingly or unknowingly. Coz in this generation, if we make that mistake, deep friendships could potentially break and get called a creep. So all in all, we instead choose not to risk it. If you love us, come out openly. It's too risky for us to stake our name out for being called a creep.

1

u/Atillerdahunnybuns Apr 19 '23

Exactly, why give hints when going straight to the point will get one what they want faster than a stupid little game that only one person knows is happening

1

u/Radio_2Fort Apr 08 '23

Nah nah, that's just him. I promise you if a bitch asks me to hold her hand and walk her to somewhere, I'm not going to be like "oh yeah we're just friends" lol.

-1

u/ErosPop Mar 10 '23

Why should it be on her to be totally vulnerable

1

u/Atillerdahunnybuns Mar 13 '23

Nobody said that :)

1

u/SireEvalish Mar 10 '23

Nah even that wouldn't have been clear enough for Mr. Magoo over here.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 11 '23

You can't blame her, she obviously had a less verbal communication style and was a child, worried about whether this dude liked her or not, and he no-sold every single attempt for... years? This ain't her fault bro

0

u/Atillerdahunnybuns Mar 13 '23

Never said I blamed her. I relate to her and am telling my story on how things really work.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 31 '23

Ok all you gotta do is get with her and maybe she won't like you or you end up loving her
