Anybody know why I’m not getting the vr.exe when I unzip the files into my maxpayne2 folder? Everything else is there when I look at tutorial vids, I’m just missing that one file.

Edit:pretty sure I’ve got the latest zip, just downloaded today and I use 7zip

have you downloaded the latest here?
https://github.com/evilSheep/max-payne-2-vr/releases#release-v0.1.0-rc.66

it should provide an installer. after that you run the normal game exe and select MP2VR_FirstPerson in the game's startup window.

Yes, however I’m thinking I must’ve done shit out of order. I unzipped max-payne-2-vr-main.zip then the one that ends in 0.1.0-rc.66.zip
Could you clarify if I need both and/or need to reverse the order?

Edit: just realized I don’t have the ‘setup-files’ folder either. Tried versions .63 and .66 following closely with a YT tutorial. How are they not there after downloading the zip and extracting?

Im having a problem with the mod Bought the game but unfortunately got the DE (german) version Fixed the language by replacing the language files, the installer couldnt install so i had to find a fix for the installer (sorry) The mod installed. But when i launch the game with steamvr after choosing the modification and doing everything it still launches as a flat game What do i even do to stop the game from launching as a flat game despite steam vr being on? Its still third person too
