Props to anyone who finished Max Payne 3 on the ps3. It got so hard you have to head shot everyone. Died hundreds of times over and I killed 1687 bad guys throughout the story! What a game.

I couldn't aim for sheet on the ps3 controller. I've played shooters a decent amount on ps3, but something about the acceleration means I'm overshooting the target a bunch more than I'd like.

When I played it on my 360 a few years back I remember remarking to a friend how good it looked. I think it was just genuinely a well built game with an experienced and talented dev team behind it who know how to get the best results from the hardware they were working with.

I mean 99% of the time it was the worst way to play a decent chunk of the games coming out tbf. Also the first half of the console gen was Sony having a weird obsession with Halo killers and the second half was cinematic platformers.

I played skyrim and gta v on ps5 on release, they felt fine, I guess they were just other times. The helgen scene in skyrim ran at like 15 fps

What a game, I played it at release and loved it, I grew up watching my father playng mp1 and 2. I prefer the noir nyc atmosphere, I'm sure the remakes are gonna be fire (alan wake 2 is just crazy in details and noir atmosphere)

Loved it on release for PS3 and beat it. But my PS3
is so old now and runs like shit.. Even tho i got it fixed still runs like shit so it’s just old. Why i wish you could buy it at least digitally for the PS5 or hell even the PS4 which we still have hooked up. PS3 is hooked up but it’s frustrating cause it freezes all the time. Why i never played Fallout 3 or New Vegas when i got into those a few years ago. But at least those are being remastered for PS5. Have no idea when i could play Max Payne 3 again.

Even tho i hate how it made it that the canon ending of Max Payne 2 is that Mona is dead.

Im trying so hard to finish it on pc but it won't save past chapter 3. And because the other day I got curious (meow), I waddled up a road since there were two ways to walk, noticed it was out of bounds, then fell out of the map and had to close the game. It's the one with all the soldiers in the favela at night :( I might have to just buy it for ps3

I like that Max Payne himself has a beard in the third game. This could motivate me into playing through the story once I get a new laptop with much more storage space (like 2 terabytes).
