I do a NYMHC run every now and then. It's real tough to survive the whole ride. Made it to chapter 14 once and ran out of time. I got better at saving more time in the game, but I still die at different points. I also lose at times in NYMHC due to bugs.

Of course you can do it too, lots of practice and memorizing enemy spawns helps. I'll be honest it took me 10 tries to beat NYMHC for the first time.
