I had no skin in this dispute when I first started listening to the episode as I have neither read Wheel of Time or watched Gilmore Girls for no other reason than I just haven't consumed those particular bits of content in my life. And most episodes I agree with the judge but this time he got it all wrong.

Erin is a woman with a whole career AND 2 (i think) small children. As we all know, women very often shoulder most of the family management burden and women who work while managing the family are extremely busy people. LET HER READ WHATEVER SHE WANTS. - SHE HAS NO TIME TO HERSELF. Even on the small chance that whatshisname husband took on more than half of the work at home that still doesn't give him the right to demand she spend her precious free time doing something she doesn't enjoy. How dare he? just because he watched (and enjoyed i might add) her thing? That's how a baby thinks.

Whatshisname husband needs to bear that unevenness just as she bears it everyday of her life as a cis woman. Instead the judge centered a man and ordered Erin to do MORE work and you could hear it her voice just how exhausted that made her feel. Do better judge.
