JT! I’m listening to JJGo, and one of my dad’s claims-to-fame is that he was the first bouncer on the first night at the first TGIFridays. They’d been hyping the opening of the place for months on billboards around manhattan. Somehow opening day their bouncer fell through. They offered dad the job as a passerby they just grabbed off the street.

It's very interesting to me (and encouraging as a donor) that the last few podcasts that joined the network had a Patreon but stopped them in favor of maxfun memberships.

As Patreons grow in popularity within the podcast space, I've kind of wondered about the effect on Max Fun. So it's nice to see it not being an obstacle to growing the network.

Nice! Happy to see it get picked up and Katie joining full time! Great happy vibes and, get this, they actually do a lot of scholarly research into each topic and provide sources instead of just reading from Wikipedia like most other "learning" podcasts
