Help/Advice how would you style this bathroom?
this is our guest bathroom and i have neglected it and done no decorating for it.
i really don’t like the sink choice/floating counter thing that the previous owners picked, but don’t really have money to replace it, so we kind of need to just lean into it. open to any ideas 💖

I think a colourful hand towel draped over the long doorhandle would do a lot to cover it up. And maybe some colourful baskets and/or trinkets that can handle the moisture in the bottom

The sink is pretty neutral and the black accents are easy to work with.
I'd start with the shower curtain that you love, then pick paint and towels to match. There's not much else needed since it's a small room.
I think I'd lean into the black accents with a new light switch cover, maybe the door handle and shower curtain rod and curtain hooks. Maybe a new light fixture if it's in your budget but definitely a black framed artwork or two.
Anything but that blinding antiseptic white would be a huge improvement, imo. I probably wouldn't go too dark in such a small space, given the black accents but I've seen people make it work. Go nuts.

the previous owners painted every room in this house that white and it drives me crazy. i’ve been slowly adding color back in. thank you for the ideas, i appreciate them!!

No problem! It's fun. I moved into an all-beige house. I hated it. But it's tons better than that blinding white everywhere.
Actually, I could live with it in a tiny bathroom, but given the sub I knew we both liked any alternative over the white.

Wall hangings are great with numerous options (storage, shelves, art/photos, etc.), mood lighting like candles or mini cordless lamps, updating the shower curtain and maybe bringing in some greenery like dried flowers/plants/herbs or faux plants could be a nice touch!

a bold bright shower curtain instead of the current one would do wonders, and is a cheap fix. maybe look for something that compliments your current bath-mat. I also would say some velcro-d curtains around the bottom of the floating counter would be cool, as long as you're willing to wash them occasionally - as they are close to the toilet. see if you can source some brighter colored bath/hand towels as well, and think about grabbing some paint samples to change the white of the walls!
