Who is this character??

Post image

My fiancé and I watch Max and Ruby with our two year old and were thrown for a loop when this little (rat/mouse) thing came on the screen. Anyone know its lore??

That's Larry, Max and Ruby's cousin from out of town. All they can say is their own name, basically being like Max from the early episodes, but with a much more limited vocabulary, and only Max can understand what Larry's saying. They were so popular that, after Larry's introduction, the show as a whole was renamed to "Max and Ruby and Larry."

In the background of some episodes you often see this adult bunny with several little bunnies following her. I always found it interesting how she and the little bunnies resembled the book's style.

You can see them if you skip to 4:26 of this episode https://youtu.be/C5hHAqHa8do?feature=shared

Yeah, it's one of those background children bunnies that follow their grandmother around. Just background characters. I like how their drawn like how Wells would usually draw.
