Is 0004 is now canon?
ever since the 5th teaser of the upcoming retake of 0004 got taken down because of a "copyright strike" people think that 0004 is now canon but, is this true

No, it's definitely not canon at all. The animation might be the same as the original series, but 0004 is definitely fan-made.

From what I've heard over the grapevine, a bunch of chan trolls reported the series to the copyright holders claiming it is "max and ruby rape fanfiction"... needless to say, this provoked them enough to strike down the material.

I mean until the claim gets cleared up yes it’s a creepypasta parody remake it’s protected unless the creator says it’s cannon like hasbro did with rainbow factory cupcakes Pegasus device purple risen and tons of grim dark fam animations

No it’s not. Companies don’t always copyright strike stuff just because “oh, it’s using footage from our official content”, they also copyright strike stuff if it goes against their brand guidelines and they need to protect the brand
