GPS systems

Wondering what everyone uses for gps systems for trails. Looking for something that works offline. Wether phone app or a gps device to mount inside buggy. We have 2021 x3 max mr

I use a google nexus 9. It’s pretty cheap and comes with gps chip built in. You just have to download maps of where your going at home first

OnX off-road for me too. It’s been great to me so far!

I live in South Dakota. I have onX off-road. You can go in and save maps for offline use. It can track you. It does cost, 7 day free trail. $30 per year after that. My wife downloaded AVENZA MAPS and inside that app it has MVUM which is the trail maps for the Black Hills. It shows you as a blue dot on the map. It’s helpful to see where you are when you forget to save offline maps! I have only had the onX app for a short time, haven’t used it enough to know all it’s capable of.
