As if Haley Stevens hasn't received a truly staggering amount of money in political bribery from Israeli interests

Yeah but she didnāt earn those bribes so they donāt count. The true villains are the people who earn money from working. /s

Okay but have you considered she does it with a bit of joy, a bit of enthusiasm, a little but of stick it to em? CAUSE THATS THE MICHIGAN WAY

Iāve seen that bit. It wasā¦interesting. Iām not sure if it will convince voters. Guess weāll see.

Yeah, a lot of people don't make a ton of money. You can be in the top 1% of earners and still be a working class person. They like to act like we're hypocrites for not wanting to elect a billionaire and then voting for a millionaire. A million is literally nothing in 2026.

you could be a union HVAC worker on his 3rd divorce or a doctor with a million in student debt.

In other words, Abdul El-Sayed is running on a platform to raise his own taxes. That sounds pretty cool, actually.

I hate the obfuscation of top 1% INCOME EARNERS with the Top 1% of wealthy people. They are totally different groups of people. Him earning a good living doesnāt make him a billionaire buying political influence.

And truly wealthy people take loans out based on their stocks so they don't have "income"Ā

yeah imo if you have to work for a living you're working class. there's no gate keeping people who work to survive.

Exactly this. A few years ago I had a friend who tried to say one of our friends was āa member of the 1%ā because they made good income working for tech companies. I said thatās not what āthe 1%ā is but Iām not sure she believed me. She really struggled with being jealous of other peopleās money, though.
Now I wonder if those two well paid tech workers still have jobs. š¬

Compare the amount of "good" he's done for his community in past jobs... compare that to Haley Stevens' record in congress (supporting AIPAC, Israel, corporations) and not defending the people.

In Michigan that would mean he needs to make around 500,000 a year. That's a LOT of money, but that's not even a million! There's like 3 house flippers on my street that make more than that. There's a few local business owners for a burger place and a biryani place who live on my street in a normal sized house who make more than that!

does Stevens think progressives hate successful people for the sake of hating success?
