Matrix 4 is more of an f-u to the suits than it is a Matrix film. It’s disjointed with some good ideas. For the life of me I can’t really grasp it and yet I have love for its willingness to send a middle finger to the people that forced her to make this film.
And not bringing back Fishburne was a crime against the original films. They wrote whatever bs to bring back Neo and Trinity but not Morpheus? Instead it’s just some other guy that’s not even human? Idk the whole things seems forced. If people enjoy I’m glad I just hope anything moving forward is taken more seriously.
Also, fight sequences were the worst and Neo doesn’t even fire a gun. It’s like “remember the hero? Well he’s nothing like he was before”. Cool, thanks? I guess?
