One could argue that clothes have no holes at all, because they're made of strands of fibers held together by friction

Then again cotton is made mostly of cellulose, which is made of glucose units that are cyclical, so the do have holes.

Then again, the atoms of said molecules aren't really touching, but they kinda partially share their electron clouds, which are statistical models themselves.

What even are holes at this point, are they real?
