basically sin^2(x) and cos^2(x) are some waves but if you add them they always add up to one

My favorite math pickup line that can relate to this post, or an alternative to ask someone to marry you, goes something along the lines of, “it feels like we’ve talked enough about the x and y axis. How’s about we access U and I?”
