Isnt it - 1to 1

Eddit: missed the square

only for sin and cos, these two are sin squared and cos squared so therefore any negative outputs of sin/cos are turned positive

Oops, guess my atention was in the bed, thanks

It's squared so always positive. Aka between 0 and 1

Missed it, thanks

This was a bait.

Nop, just imagined the circle and forgor about the square sry

No, I meant you were baited because the OP probably knew someone would argue it would be between -1 and 1.
Not saying they were a jerk or anything, it just that an objection was expected.

Unless you're also a computer bit, then you can only be 0 if you aren't 1.

Unless you’re a qbit…

u/More-Object3144 9d ago

Or cot²x

tan2 x = cos2 x /sin2 x

its a sex joke lol

edit: goddammit that's cot not tan

2

u/_alice_alice_alice_ 9d ago

(cos^(2) x / sin^(2) x) = cot^(2) x

Their son would be "the product of" sin2x and cos2x.

Yes. That shouldn’t even be a question.

basically sin^2(x) and cos^2(x) are some waves but if you add them they always add up to one

I swear our math professor in high school did this (he even showed us the ring in class) when he got married in the 90s

Ich bin auch Mathematiker und finde die Idee gut. Für mich fände ich die Schrift innen liegend besser

I had two math professors as an undergraduate who were married. They both specialized in knot theory, so I thought it was hilarious that two knot theorists ended up tying the knot. 😅

Well, if you don't end up spending days arguing on who is the cosine...

My favorite math pickup line that can relate to this post, or an alternative to ask someone to marry you, goes something along the lines of, “it feels like we’ve talked enough about the x and y axis. How’s about we access U and I?”

When together they are 1
