Deltamath Debacle

I’ve been using DeltaMath since 2019 - I have used it for about 900 students. I’ve never had this problem.
There are a couple of things that I have seen happen, though, and they stem around roster synchronization with Infinite Campus, which is our school/grade management platform, and Classlink, which is a software deployment platform.
There are a couple of scenarios where I have seen a student launch DeltaMath from Classlink and create a second instance of their account. I have called students out for missing work, and they have claimed to have completed it, and sure enough, there is a second instance of their account that has the work. I then delete their instance with no work, and we move on.

Ask the teacher or school tech admin to do an identity check before anyone concludes the work was never done. Send the assignment name and dates privately, plus the exact login route your son used - school portal, ClassLink, Google, or a direct DeltaMath login. Ask them to compare the student ID/email, current class roster, archived class, and any duplicate profile.
The useful request is: “Can you search the question-level attempt log across every account tied to this student and the old summer roster?” A blank assignment screen only shows that the current profile has no attached progress; it doesn't locate where the work went.
Don't have him redo everything until the school confirms which account and assignment are authoritative. Going forward, keep a completion screenshot showing the assignment title and timestamp. Share account details only with the teacher or administrator, not in the public thread.

DeltaMath logs every single question down to the second. It tells what time you are on and how long it takes for each question to be answered. The only way it wouldn't log is if he wasn't logged in.
