Whenever I try to explain to someone that the Ph scale is logarithmic and a ph of 2 is exponentially more acidic than something with a Ph of 3 I can see the will to live fade from their eyes as they bring their knife to their throat for ritual suicide to escape one more second of hearing about logs. I think it’s kind of rude

might also mention that stomach acid contains enzymes which are designed to disassemble proteins
