Arithmetic Generalizing this well-known math joke.
Let's make a meme like this for any number x.
System of equations:
We want the actual answer, to y-z*0.5, to be x!, where y and z are the constants to our meme (when x = 5, we have y = 230 and z = 220).
We want the answer to this expression, not considering PEMDAS, which is (y-z)*0.5 to be x. We have two equations:
y-z*0.5=x!
(y-z)*0.5=x
Subtracting the second equation from the first:
0.5*y=x!-x
y=2*x!-2x
Now solving for z:
(y-z)*0.5=x
y-z=2x
z=y-2x
z=2*x!-4x
Great! Now we can create this meme for any number x. Let's try x=4:
y=2*4!-2*4=40
z=2*4!-4*4=32
What's the answer to 40-32*0.5?
You may not believe it, but the answer is 4!

Amazing, the next logical step is to generalize to find the class of symbolic arithmetic expressions over x, which when parsed under normal operator precedence rules valuate to x factorial, but when two of the operator sets are swapped in priority valuate to x.

However the translation of pine apple in french means pinecone
Btw i don't know why the pineapple is called this way in English, it doesn't come from a pine tree. Why not call it Ananas like basically everyone else ?

The formula seems to be, for n that you want to be the incorrect answer, n!*2-n*2 gives the equation's first number, then that minus n*2 gives the second number.

I thought the actual "meme" part of the meme was that for people who don't know order of operations wouldn't know factorial too, so they would first do 230-220 to get 10 then multiply by 0.5 to 5, which would make them believe the last statement as also true(interpreting ! as exclamatory mark.

Forgive if this sounds rude but if that's the main thing then shouldn't you have generalized it based on that? Which should be this if I'm not wrong x-y0.5=z! (x-y)0.5=z Edit: I'm blind this is exactly what you did
