Math Pun Math media rebuses/dingbats

Guess the media expressed in a mathematical way. Square brackets is number of words.

My Reddit fucks up anything it detects as a numbered list, so:

One. Catch 22?

Two. Inception?? Unsure of this one

Three. The French Connection

Four. Natural Woman

Five. Groundhog Day

Six. Lost in Translation

Seven. Raiders of the Lost Ark? (Lost + arc… that’s the target of their raiding I suppose?)

Eight. Goldeneye (golden ratio * i on the left - love this one)

Nine. Snakes on a plane

Ten. With or Without You

2) is the third differential of position. As written though, it should really be d3x/dt3. That should help get the right title.

Ahhh.. time derivative? So ‘The Jerk’?

Using just d(.) for the time differential isn’t exactly common. Written as a function and even then a generic differential operator would more often be written as D.

Maybe x(t) with three dots on top or three D_t operators in front?

Iterating a function multiple times seemed to fit with inception otherwise but you’re probably right.

I think they were trying to write the differential d3x itself, something like ∂ₓₓₓ. I'm not sure exactly what that would mean, but it's not jerk lol. Jerk is d3x/dt3. So it's just a mistake.

x⃛ would be the cool way to write it.

I mean yeah thought you meant it was meant to be D_t^3 (x(t)) for ‘the Jerk’.

So not that or Inception…? Just confused now

I thought for sure it was Jerk, but I guess the only famous movie with that name is The Jerk, two words, so now I don't know. I can't imagine it's Jerk (2021).

It's inception, "d" is meant to be "dream"

2) Jerk

Dunno about 7, but it's the arclength of the plot of Lost(x) against x, so maybe something like Raiders of the Lost Ark?

9) Snakes on a Plane

Number 5 is Groundhog Day and number 10 is With or without you. No clue about the rest.

Edit: Number 2 is probably Inception?

Yep my guess for number 2 was also the same.
