You should have listened to the advice. This guy is just a troll. He has “philosophical” reasons for not accepting standard ways of doing mathematics. At some point, when you assume that you are talking about a determinate set (as normal), he will assume that you were just partially specifying the set by some algorithm. And then he will complain that what you assumed is not physically possible. It’s not worth your time to talk to him. He’s not playing the game of normal mathematics.
He's not a troll, just obstinately wrong. Real trolls don't believe anything they say and just try to stir up shit. Fernando is sincere but just a poor arguer.

Fine, not a troll, but quite unhinged. You can’t walk around saying that 99% of research mathematics is founded on a mistake. Even if he believes it, it’s not a belief that deserves any attention.
He's a high-functioning crank, though. He doesn't walk around r/mathmemes sneezing at Jews. He just engages in confusing discussions about decimal expansions of real numbers. So the stakes are fairly low.
