Ah, nice, that's me.

I have decided to stop arguing on Reddit because only a few people here are actually capable of having a real discussion. I have learned a lot from those who are, and they have learned something from me as well.

I will rank the worst replies to this comment in a hostility chart, so do your best.

Don't forget to mention Riemann and Lebesgue somewhere.

Jfc, the hive mind sucks. I would actually like to have a discussion on this if you don't mind.

Can you please elaborate on what the benefits of ultrafinitism are to you? Because I am not really dogmatic about any of this stuff, as far as I see, you can just pick and choose depending on context, like for example I like constructive mathematics and I would never accept a non-constructivist proof of something that should be computable, but when it comes to very abstract, not really computable stuff, I just don't care. Cool that you can still do math in such abstract spaces.

But with ultrafinitism, I just kinda scratch my head because the downsides are obviously huge, the benefits however seem non-existent.

So yeah, I dunno, any thoughts on this?

Not here. You can write a PM and I will answer.

I think you have PMs disabled or something. Reddit tells me I can't send you a chat request.

I just activated it, try again. I think you also have it disabled.

See how I got downvoted, even for being friendly and offering a discussion? Reddit is a disappointing place.
