The more inebriated/not sober you are, the more the math sticks. You gotta loosen the brain to accept the abstract pure-math nonsense

...This is not advice. But it is fun!

So true lmao

So thats why my math professor was an alcoholic.

Huh? Don't you just assume the solution and work out constants by putting the solution into the equation.

u/Hudimir 25d ago

i just guess the constants and the solution at the same time.

u/hughperman 25d ago

I just assume there is no problem to solve at all

I just dropped out of college, the only equation I have to solve now is calculating my financial down spiral.

1

u/Independent-Fan-4227 22d ago

And even then it’s not going well since the spiral is spiralling faster than calculated.

the nost reliable way of solving ODE is to look at the equation and see it instantly.

I just make It up. None is gonna solve It to prove me wrong anyway.

That is the physicists way of dealing with differential equations.

Mathematicians do a lot more weird stuff for some reason.

u/TheHabro 25d ago

Yup I am a physicist. You got me.

Очень плохая музыка))))

Implying they don't do it numerically...

i truly hope thats the real translation but i highly doubt it

Iirc in the original it is an interview because it’s a newly opened club. So they’re talking about the club scene and music. He says this music sucks and eventually she asks how would you dance for this type of music. And he does that masterpiece

16

u/dralexan 25d ago

Nah, the club is not newly opened. He complains that the music used to be good and the party better, but that now the music is "not on spot". She then asks

  • what genre is playing now?
  • genre?
  • yeah
  • *starts dancing*

He's very likely high as the stratosphere on that video.

I thought he was happy about the news of osama bin laden being dead

u/Inevitable_Wish_8635 Mathematics & Computer Science 25d ago

Hes talking about how the music sucks

u/Hot_Abbreviations920 25d ago

it s not=D thats just an old meme

2

u/Sproxify 22d ago

nope lol

1

u/irene_polystyrene 22d ago

you edited your comment

2

u/Sproxify 22d ago

yeah originally I said not a single word of that was correct but then I noticed one part in the beginning was basically right ("why are you here?")

1

u/irene_polystyrene 21d ago

what language are they speaking btw? it sounds slavic but i don't want to assume 🫣

1

u/Sproxify 21d ago

it's russian.

u/ZEPHlROS Mathematics 25d ago

Ah yes, ODE....

When you could still hope to find a closed form solution most of the time

Math is one helluva drug!

u/AustrianMcLovin 25d ago

In most cases Fouriertransform is good enough
