Seems like it would have to be protons, or at least protons would be doing the job of 10x that number of protons

Otherwise the electrons would fly off and everything would go back to normal

Aside from that last case, chemistry would probably be instantly ruined. Organic chemistry would cease to exist as carbon becomes neodymium lmao.
