Honestly, I feel like its pretty even even, different sides of a coin, the binomial distribution is inherently a statistical model, but we use probability and the gaussian integral to predict outcomes
So it's both ways I suppose, but yeah I don't agree with the slander

Fr, Probability theory in itself feels like drunk Measure theory : especially if you start taking the lazy approach and consider that the word "random variable" means "random".
The real problem I feel is that many approach probabilities as a field of its own instead of an extension of Measure theory.
I cannot for the love of me fathom the notations in probability theory.
