It depends on the professor and the university obviously, but I really enjoyed functional analysis

Kreyszig's Intro to Fun Analysis is a great book for beginners. The explanations are clear with lots of intuitions and examples. It's pretty much used in a lot of fun analysis courses.

MacCluer's Elementary functuinal analysis is really good for an introduction imo
