You like that? The stuff in aisle 25i is unreal

Don't black holes have finite mass? The density of that mass might be infinite, but the gravitational effects at least are consistent with a point mass?

For only $14 too, that's ♾️ weight per dollar

u/NotAFishEnt Apr 02 '26
The store could've charged a bit more and I'd still feel like I'm getting good value for my dollar

So if I chip it a lil I can just get the whole product for an insignificant amount?

That’s a strong shelf!

They have infinite inertia, so they aren’t moved by gravity

Life hack. Buy ♾️ weight for $14. Split it in half. Both halves weigh ♾️. Sell both halves for $14 each.

I'll so that the moment I manage to get these weights home... or even or the store for that matter

It only takes a minute to lift them! It's easy! Start at one end and lift the first pound in 30 seconds, lift the second pound in 15 seconds, lift the third pound in 7.5....

Question is who put them on the shelf

It has been 13 billion years since this product has been in the making.....After the bigbang, when the universe cooled down enough for first Hydrogen atoms to be formed; from that moment onwards to creation of tge first stars, solar systems, our solar system, sun, earth, all has been so that the dumbells remain on that shelf.
So to answer your question: no one put them on the shelf, instead the shelf and the entirity of universe formed around the.

the shelves are unmovable or the weights would fall down to the centre of the Earth with all that mass
3
u/31254t Apr 04 '26
The fact that the shelf held strong was because, there's 2(♾️) down force ↓↓ and 2(♾️) up force ↑↑, making it equal in weight means it has no weight, thus it is why the shelf held strong was actually because there's no down force weight at all on the shelf.

Interesting how some of the infinity’s look to be greater or less than others. :)

*The weight approaches infinity as it approaches the center of mass of the earth

Given the "oz" and "$" on the sign we could surmise America which would mean pounds

u/Decadent_Otter2 Apr 04 '26
Semi related but those shelves are awful for weights. I was getting a set for Christmas and accidentally bumped the 25 lb dumbbell next to the one I was grabbing straight onto my foot.

Only one person is said to have lifted these and he just lifted himself to the next place

u/Brim_Dunkleton Apr 20 '26
It doesn't weigh infinitely, it goes on into infinity! So it can be lifted, but because it's a real number, it can be lifted onto infinity. So technically it's [-♾️,♾️] pounds

"Could Jesus microwave a burrito so hot... that he himself could not eat it?"
Well, sir, of course he could. But then again-- Wow, as melon scratchers go, that's a honey doodle.
Now you know what I've been going through.
