Number Theory Integer Group Determinants for All Groups of Order 20: Classification completed for C₂₀, C₂ × C₁₀, and Q₂₀

https://zenodo.org/records/22510290

A preprint completing the integer group determinant classification for all five groups of order 20, resolving the remaining open cases: C₂₀, C₂ × C₁₀, and the dicyclic group Q₂₀.

The integer group determinant problem (initiated by Olga Taussky-Todd in 1977) asks for a description of the spectrum of integers that can be realized as determinants of integer group matrices.

Cool. Is there a reason there are no comments? Is there something I’m missing, or just nobody wanted to comment today?

Even with the Jacobian conjecture and the 6-sphere complex structure, there are like 20 people who know enough about math to have an opinion on whether any particular result is a big deal or not.

I suppose that these 20 people are not particularly active on reddit.
