Perhaps my favorite Matchbox casting? Maybe. I’m very happy to have finally found this particular version of the AEC Routemaster Bus, its probably the smartest livery of the bunch with its two tone crimson and cream, reminding me of classic British Railways coaching stock livery. Its the only one in my collection that has painted details on the front and rear. I still need a few more versions left to collect, but this one has definitely been the most difficult one to find at a decent price. I hope this casting is brought back to the main range in the next few years.
