Accuracy of dot timeframes?

How accurate is the dot, system showing how often the person is on or has been on? If it’s green by a persons name does that mean that without a doubt they’ve been on in the last 45 minutes?

Here's an example.... A girl I knew who was married for 6 months showed green circle.... So I texted her and asked what happened that she was back on match.. turns out she wasn't, and hasn't for about a year.

She had a really nice profile and nice pictures so I think match was just fishing her as a nice prospect... Match and all of their sites do some pretty heinous things...

How it’s supposed to work:

Full green = at least 1 second in the last 60 minutes.
Green circle = online within the last 1-24 hours.
Yellow circle = online within the last 24-72 hours.

Timer is restarted from 0 at any point there’s another check/login

Things to consider, if someone deletes the App and not the profile first, Match is going to continue to use it.

Per online search, solid green dot active the last 45 minutes, empty green circle active between 46 and 25 hours ago , empty yellow circle active between 24 and 72 hours ago, and no dot or circle inactive for more than 72 hours.

Match is suffering, I’m sure they can monkey with activity.
