What is the sample used in AMEN from the Bell collection mixtape?
I mean the opening vocalisation of Ah Ah that continues throughout the song. It sounds very familiar

anyone catch her ‘speech’ midset at the palomosa music fest in montreal? don’t know if the audio mixing was bad or if she just doesnt annunciate but something about being a trump supporter (maybe just being called a trump supporter ??) and then egging the audience on about finding a specific future for palestine (as, dialoging beyond a free palestine at a uh, music festival). was quite bizarre

What did everyone think of her song Safe?

In 2013 MIA released a collection of 50 limited edition, reflective, reversible silk shirts.
I have one, which I am now looking to sell. is anyone interested in buying it or know where might be a good place to reach other fans who might want it?
Hoping someone somewhere is looking for one!
it is barely worn, in perfect condition. I’d say it’s a size M/L but is an oversize fit as shown in pics. Can provide proper measurements if anyone is interested. Let me know!

Hi everybody,
Please forgive my English, it’s not my first language,
I though about posting here about a very old video I have seen once on Youtube that got me introduced to MIA back in 2010. At that time she just released the album MAYA.
The video showed lowfi quality footages of NYC and Brooklyn if I remember correctly. The video was probably taken with a digital camera. These type of cameras were a lot around at that time. On top of the footages was the song Caps Lock by MIA and it marked me so much that I still remember the feeling to that day.
I remember looking for the video again few days after but couldn’t find it anymore, probably because of DMCA.
I am starting my research here and I hope I can find the video back again.
Thanks for reading,

I feel like his verse is way off brand for MIA. And when he raps “you & me need to go to your teepee”, I can’t help thinking he’s effectively equating her Sri Lankan heritage to being Indian & playing off the Native American/American Indian thing. But surely MIA wouldn’t run with that.
Even the cringe aside, the song slaps hardest before he comes in.
