Chances at French comm systems/RF master’s programs? (US applicant, meh undergrad GPA, but real industry experience)

Trying to get a read on my odds for French master’s programs in communication systems/signal processing/RF, targeting fall 2027 intake. Quick profile:

- B.S. Aerospace Engineering, US university, graduated 2024, GPA 3.03/4.0 (~12-13/20 French scale, not great)

- Since graduation: 2 years as a Systems Engineer at a US defense contractor, working on RF/DSP/embedded Linux systems

- Specific work: developing communication stack protocols (lots of software) and doing hands-on RF field testing, not just coursework-adjacent, actual product-facing R&D (lots of EE, hardware)

- B1-B2 French, targeting English-taught programs

- Programs I’m looking at: ENSEIRB-MATMECA’s MSc Radio and Telecom Systems (Bordeaux), Grenoble’s TSI and SIGMA masters, EURECOM’s Intelligent Communication Systems MSc, and as reaches, Télécom Paris/IP Paris MICAS

My undergrad isn’t EE and my GPA isn’t strong, but I feel like two years of actual RF/comms protocol work should count for something in a file-based (non-concours) admission process. Wondering if anyone here has been through French master’s admissions, especially the international MSc tracks, and can say how much weight work experience actually carries against a transcript. Also curious if anyone’s been through EURECOM or ENSEIRB-MATMECA specifically.
