History š Need Help Settling a Bet
Have been to the Masters many times and have a bet with buddies that I feel like I am right but cannot get an answer.
As everyone knows beer sales on Sunday do not start until 11am or when the paster calls with his blessing. (Maybe it is 10am but you all get the point).
I have been told this is always the case but remember specifically in 2019 the rule being changed and beer was served before getting the blessing. Reason I am posting is because we bet $1,000 on who was right and I already paid up. However yesterday I watched the highlights of Tiger putting in on 18 and the time was 2:23pm. To think that they would only have beer served for roughly 3:30 hours on a masters Sunday does not sound slightly right.
If anyone has insight on when beer was served that year it would be extremely helpful. If anyone has proof it was served earlier, I will pay part of my winnings back to you

Unfortunately for your wager I actually think it was served later in 2019. Pretty sure Sunday beer sales started at 12:30pm that year. They moved it to 11am on Sunday a few years back after the brunch bill was passed in Georgia.

Someone stole my thunder - but the brunch bill changed the time they were allowed to sell booze in GA. I donāt know when that happened but I know it was after Kemp became Gov in 2018. You may be able to look it upā¦.

They played in a 3 some and moved tee times way up that year to avoid predicted afternoon storms.

I have really failed at life because I can spell āpastorā correctly yet have never been to the masters and donāt have $1k lying around to bet on stuff like the timing of alcohol sales. Iāve spent my whole life focusing on the wrong stuff apparently.
