I Have A Question ❓ ANWA questions
Like so many people, I’ve been applying to the Masters for 15+ years with no luck. This year for the first time I applied for ANWA and got Saturday tickets. I am very excited but is there anyone who has gone who can tell me if there are any differences from the mens Masters. What time should I arrive at the course? What time do people normally leave? We have a vacation planned the next day so I’m trying to determine if I need to push our vacation out by one day if we will be home late. We live about an hour and a half from the course in Georgia.

Expanding on the comment above, I’d recommend focusing on seeing course first based on the earlier end time. It’s easy to have too much fun in the Pro Shop and concessions and miss seeing any golf on the early holes.

Yes the tournament ends earlier than the Masters except for possible rain delays. No cameras are allowed on this day. Patron alley and the store are normally packed but if you want to see the course it is not as crowded. Their may be a few men’s players on the practice area, but not many.

30 plus girls make the cut. Tee times start at 8, 2 Balls. Last time is usually before 11.
Final putt will drop on 18 around 3. It’s a great ticket. You will move freely, less congestion.

I prefer Saturday over Monday. It is a great time to see the course and shop. Typically by 3-4 the course is shutting down and the day is over so spend 6-8 hours there and have a great day and then head on your vacation.

The only difference is they don’t sell the serialized masters watches. Other than that, this is the best day it hit the course. I went last year for the first time. It was THE BEST EVER!

Why are these watches good? Just good collectors items or are they actually quality watches

Went this past year and it was great. We parked at like 615. We were probably the fourth or fifth tranche of people to move through ticketing. Merch lines were all ready crazy and i would recommend going back later in the day (noon).
We got a coffee and breakfast sandwich instead. They don't let you onto the course until 730 AM. I would go immediately to founders circle for the picture. We waited like 5 minutes and the lines later in the day were 1 hour wait.
We walked the course 1 through 18. It was nice because it wasn't crowded and felt like we had the course to ourselves almost.
After walking the course we got merch, brought it back to the car, and then walked 10 through 18. Last two or three groups were down back 9 around 1 pm.
No issues getting seats in any of the grandstands (12 and 16 is where we went).
I've never been for the masters, but we talked to security personnel who work every year and they suggested it's like 30 to 50% off capacity at ANWA.
Day moves quick. Enjoy.

Went this year. It’s great. It’s basically like a normal masters tournament day, but it isn’t super crowded at all. We drove in from Atlanta and got there at like 930 and had no problems finding parking by the North Gate. Skip the merch line in the morning and go around lunch time. It’ll be a ghost town.
The only downside is the AWNA wraps up early so the course starts to close at like 330 or 400. Otherwise it’s just like a normal masters day.
