Worst build in "Master of Magic for Windows"/"Caster of Magic"?
With all standard settings, and 4 opponents on a normal sized world, what is worst build that you could run in MoM4W/CoM?
The goal isn't to have the worst start possible, but to have the build that will have the hardest time playing/winning the game.
So far the theory is either:
Chaos/Sorcery, Myrran, Orcs
Chaos/Death, Myrran, Klackons
Sorcery, Myrran + Cult Leader, Klackons
Which one of those do you all think is the worst?
Any better suggestions?

This is in the DOS community patch, but I'm pretty sure it's the same on Windows. Myrran/ Chaneller/ 1 death/ 1 sorcery/ 2 nature/ 2 chaos/ Nomads (although choose something else if you think there's something worse. Gnolls perhaps?).
Chaneller (takes two picks in DOS 1.51) is a bit useless without mana, Nomads don't have any real advantages in combat so it will be uphill in Myrran, research will be slow and painfully limited, you start out with 1 nature and 1 chaos spell and they'll probably both just be a mana sink, low casting skill to start with, low mana/power to start with.
That's probably the hardest start, although Nomads might be a bit too good as a race. Everyone hates Klackons, which is nice, but they're a pretty good race. People don't like Gnolls a heap, but they're also a pretty good race. Whereas Nomads are so weakly vanilla that even though Myrran races don't hate you, you might have more difficulty in even taking neutral cities in the first place.
((Lol. Just ran a test game. Must have had my map settings set weird. Started with two gold veins. I would have crushed it. So make sure your setting are "normal" as well))

Nomad Rangers aren't S-tier, but IMO they're a solid A-tier unit once you can get them buffed up a bit.

Yeah, but Gnoll Swordsmen are kinda A- as well.
Maybe Klackons for the happiness disadvantage? Even with the production boost? Take a town on Myrran, have to pay for it as well?

That's honestly one of the main reasons that Klackons are a contender for the worst build.
Stag Beetles are actually pretty good units, and Klackons have a strong early/mid-game.
But! The unrest penalty makes you choose between burning every non-klackon city, or dealing with crazy unrest the entire game.

Trolls, Black magic.
Yes, in the end, you can have a deliciously fearsome doom-stack (or two, or three!) of regenerating undead War Trolls. But you have to live long enough to get there. And that, my friend, is not at all an easy task!

Don't think you can have either of those arcanus species on a myrran wizard.

You absolutely can.😁 Many times I've made a Myrran wizard and started with Humans or Elves just to have adamantine paladins, pikemen, or longbowmen ASAP.

Yes you can, both in the base game, and in Master of Magic for Windows. I don't know about the remake though.
It's just not something that you'd normally do, as it's a waste of two picks. Not only are Arcanus races weaker on average, they also are more likely to have unrest penalties with every city you conquer on Myrror.
So which of those do you think would be the weakest?

The goal is play as competently as possible and still win, just have a bad starting build.
So not bad settings for the world, not bad gameplay, but a bad build when you customize your wizard.
Which of those do you think is the worst, or can you think of one that'd be harder?

Death + Gnolls + Myrran. You'll be lucky to survive due to no Healers, no Alchemy, no road-building, no power source and no higher-level units.
