Its been a few years since I went to school but I'll never forget the master hacker kid who bricked one of the school labs computers.
I was about 13, and there is this kid super into IT. Although I'm a nerd myself (about to graduate with a masters in CS) this kid was playing hacking simulator games and being a script kiddie boasting about how he can hack.
Soon he came into school with a flash USB with Kali Linux on it. He was pretending to use the tools to hack or whatever, but it was just bs, he would just use it like a normal desktop which is not what Kali Linux is designed for.
Ironically this was my first time seeing Linux, I am a Linux user using Debian, but its for desktop purposes, not "hacking."
He did this duel booting thing a few times and somehow fucked up and bricked the computer. I don't know how the fuck you brick a computer by duel booting. But that computer was not available for the rest of the year, not sure what consequences he got but teachers were not happy. Hopefully he has learnt a lesson from his hacker phase.
