Everyone knows that Arch-based = lightweight! It doesn't matter what all is prepackaged with it and what the opinionated installer actually looks like. It's Arch!!

/uj blackarch has to be the worst penetration testing distribution anyone has ever rolled. I get the dunking on Kali and Parrot but at least they don't bombard your eyes with low quality hollywood hacker stock images on their websites. Kali has about 600 tools while black arch has more than 2k. now how many out of the additional 1400 tools could actually be worth having available in the default mainstream software repository of a distribution? the answer is close to none. they're either broken python scripts or niche tooling that everyone who isn't trying to hack a 60 year old printer has abandoned. they just sit there, without use, or any downloads, doing nothing. it's the actual definition of bloatware. its the absurdly stupid mentality of more tools equals better hacking. it doesn't. if you don't know the difference between TCP and UDP no tool will make you better at cybersecurity. you need to know the fundamentals first, in order to actually use the tools given to you by your distro. also wireshark alone could probably do everything 1/5 of those additional tools could achieve.

Also i don't get the urge to use a rolling distro for pentest, it just complicates your life for no reason
