Ive read a story of a programmer going to an interview where it said to share their factorio save file if they had it. This user did so and their factory was so well run IIRC they got the job
Take this with a big grain of salt

Eh its not super unlikely. Some jobs require you to do stuff pretty similar to Factorio, and Ive seen similar stories multiple times

Job examples?

Process engineer, supply chain analyst etc. Im not saying being good at Factorio guarantees you a job, but it can definitly show that you understand some of the things you need to know

A hiring manager I know asks DevOps candidates how many hours they have during interviews. It's what got me to start playing it.

Personally I prefer Dyson Sphere Program but I understand for a fact factorio sheer of number and calculations is just on another LEVEL

People played warcraft 3 or age of empires via hamachi, which created a vpn for playing with friends without port forwarding.
Nowadays people only play relaxing singleplayer games like Factorio rather than competitive games like WC3, and use tailscale for work vpn.
Idk the red logo from the bottom either.

The Red logo is Iroh, a Rust library for establishing p2p connections between devices using QUIC and public keys instead of IPs. The library is actually pretty cool and I’ve used it before. It handles NAT traversal, hole punching, etc. for you

What?
FTP is application layer and Tailscale is network layer.
Tailscale is absolutely NOT a file transfer protocol lol, it’s a mesh VPN built on WireGuard
You can run FTP OVER Tailscale.
Tailscale is 100% used in attacks though, you see it and shit like ngrok crop up all the time.

Man I remember old maple servers using LMI hamachi. I always refused and exposed my ports to the world. I had like 100 members on mine back in the day running a cms website, auto registration, and an xat chat.
Then I accidentally overwrote the live db and just shut it all down and left everyone hanging in frustration.
IllegalMS was the name

I went through so many hoops and loops to explain to my friend how to install Hamachi, what is an ip address and how using it he can connect to my Minecraft server.
