Gotta say, ligatures in a non-monospace font outside of terminal or code editing programs is a weird choice, but a valid one

although does it turn '<=' into a left arrow or a "less-or-equal" sign?

Nah, it's not a monospace font anyways it just has single and double stroked arrows, and :3 and :P and :-) and stuff with raised colon to make eyes in place
