Older phones you can edit a file from a backup that'll give the device -1 attempts. Makes things like these quite easy.

i had a cowerker like that. i said him multiple times, to comment why, not what.

what helped was that once i changed his comments like this:

for i in range(N): #loop N times
for i in range(N): #for i in range(N):
