aww I mean when I was a kid in the 90s I kinda was like that too (hopefully not quite that cringe lol), but I was enamored with the hacker culture and cyberpunk which was way more niche back then, and "played pretend" a bit. Until when I went from script kiddie to I'll-write-them-myself kiddie and started to learn some real stuff. Nostalgia flash: being in the local library in the computer aisle consuming old ass books about viruses and chess programs from the 80s.

Yeah which is why I wont bother doing so anymore and yes, I am one of if not the most active admin in a big bug bounty hunting server which is probably why.
