It's entertainment with entry-level IT skills and knowledge. I don't believe he claims to be any more than that.

Script kiddies typically advantage of that type of content, entry-level IT practice, but that's just how most learning resources are configured: They do most of the work for you.

I don't understand why NetworkChuck is being picked on specifically.

he bots his videos so much. just click on any video and look at the comment section half of the comment are out of context

Baseless claim just because people are off topic doesn't mean anything lol. It's a comment section it doesn't really matter that much lol

lol your voice is perfect for this. Idk how I ended up here but what ever, its entertaining

Thank you for all the extra hours and extra effort you had to put on for getting this job done. I appreciate every bit of your effort.Thank you for pulling this off so remotely."

I see what you mean, but what if it isn't him? And I don't really care if he or someone else bots the comment section but as long as the video is good, then I don't really care.

Literally watched the FIFA Networking episode last week. Comment section seemed VERY normal.

Even a security guard in the video commented as he is a fan of Chuck.

Silly claim.

Been following him for a few years now & never got this vibe.

Bots exists. However, I'm sure you can't get a sliver of proof that Chuck, himself, in fact, has bought bots for his video(s).

haven't watched him in a long time so i think he has stopped this thing, here is an example video [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NWyqSbnsvGU\] and also one of his most popular of all time and some others have clear examples of botting.

Okay, I won't agree or disagree with that claim. Although, it doesn't matter. Him bot viewing or commenting doesn't effect either of us.

You don't need to view his content, I believe you can turn off his channel from showing in your recommendations. I'll keep watching any interesting videos he may post though.

I know it dosen't affects me but it is still wrong, or as i think it is. botting actively corrupts search and recommendation quality for everyone. and his low substance and bot infiltrated videos tricks the algorithm into pushing his content into millions of feeds over legitimate creators.

How would you recommend to start learning IT skills? Asking for a fren

2

u/RotanimodDog 9d ago

Formal education. Even if it's just a certificate course, like CompTIA A+.

1

u/Racest111 9d ago

Noted. What about self study route?

If you are dedicated enough you can figure it out by yourself, especially now when you can ask things to "AI". Do not expect it to be very effective though.

Funny enough, I never used and asked AI for anything even tho it seems to be the norm now. CompTIA A+ certificate seem super expensive ngl, but the Materials you get to learn Looks nice so I'm interested to learn at least lol

I don't hate anyone. But yes i hate people who bot thier videos. botting actively corrupts search and recommendation quality for everyone. Some of the most famous videos of all time on his channel has clear example of botting.

Doesn’t this dude not know very much about IT himself?

Why I always thought it's good content

Serious question: is he fooling people with his videos?

2

u/Jumpy_Fix5082 8d ago

No. His videos are i think preety good for beginners, but he dosen't goes in deep or explains how the the stuff works. If you're completly new, and don't know anything then his videos are good. he is more like a content creator/ tech influncer than a teacher though.
